InSPIRE Rock to Build Gym on 5 Acres

Houston-headquartered InSPIRE Rock acquired five acres, on which it will build a new indoor rock-climbing gym. The facility in question, InSPIRE’s first in San Antonio, will offer climbing walls high enough to require ropes and harnesses.

Once open, the gym near the intersection of UTSA and Utex Boulevards, will offer 24,000 square feet to 26,000 square feet of climbing terrain, with approximately 6,000 square feet to 8,000 square feet dedicated to ropes-free bouldering. Construction is scheduled to launch within the next 18 months to two years, with the build anticipated to take eight to 10 months.

InSPIRE, a family owned business, currently operates two locations in the Houston area: One in Spring, TX, and the other in Cypress.
