InSite Group Acquires 390-Room Holiday Inn & Suites in Orlando

JLL Hotels & Hospitality has brokered the sale of the 390-room Holiday Inn & Suites nearby Universal Studios in Orlando. The sales price was not disclosed.

Located at 5905 South Kirkman Rd., the property is directly across from Universal Orlando Resort, the second-largest resort market in Greater Orlando. The hotel features an outdoor heated pool with a large patio area and separate children’s pool, a 24-hour fitness center, an onsite TGI Friday’s restaurant and 13,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

Gregory Rumpel and Zayli Rodriguez of JLL represented the seller, AVR Realty Co., in the transaction. The hotel was sold to InSite Group, unencumbered of an existing management agreement.

“Despite Orlando’s continuous influx of new supply, the Holiday Inn & Suites Across from Universal Orlando has demonstrated impressive historical operating performance with resilient cash flows,” said Rodriguez. “Upon completion of the hotel’s refurbishment plan, the property will be well-positioned to capitalize on the immense growth and the substantial investments being made in the market.”
