Insight Property Group Names Trent Smith Managing Principal in DC

Washington, D.C.-based real estate development firm Insight Property Group has announced that Trent Smith has been appointed Managing Principal. Richard Hausler, the firm’s Co-Founder, has announced that he will step back from day-to-day company operations.

Smith, along with the company’s three principals — Bill Goodman, Sarah Davidson and Maury Stern — will focus on expanding Insight’s footprint in the Washington, DC region while continuing to build on the partnerships and vision that have shaped the company’s position as an industry innovator.

“Trent Smith has been a part of Insight and its leadership for over a decade. His outstanding abilities, character and leadership are well recognized by our longtime friends and partners at Insight, and throughout our industry,” said Hausler. “This transition, carefully planned for continuity as we continue to grow and innovate in this next decade, puts our partners and clients first as always. I look forward to continued investment and involvement with the Insight team and Trent at the lead.”
