Inland Empire Far East Set for $210M I-10 Tune Up
Industrial real estate owners and brokers call transportation infrastructure a key to the Inland Empire’s strengths in a growing logistics economy, and Caltrans is in support and set to deliver on a $210-million “I-10 Tune Up” project that will complete much needed maintenance from the 60 freeway eastward to Highway 111.
A timeline shows work will be completed in three stages, and could take as long as two to three years. Logistics-intensive operators should expect some delays during the construction period.
The work will focus on medians, repaving the number three and four lanes, and “slab replacement” in lanes one and two. Some initial stages of the work are already underway, more significant stages of the project are set to begin in March this year.
