Industry Players to Compete for Diabetes Research

Chicago’s first JDRF Real Estate Games will come to town on Thursday, May 17 as 150 of the city’s top brokers, developers and property managers compete to raise money for JDRF, the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes research. Dodgeball, a swimming relay and a weightlifting challenge all are on the agenda for the afternoon competition at FFC Union Station.

“Having supported the work of JDRF for more than 20 years, I know how effective it is as an organization, and how important its efforts are to the millions of people and their families who struggle with diabetes every day,” said Savills Studley’s Rich Plonsker, co-chair of JDRF 2018 Chicago Real Estate Games.

The Chicago games’ host committee includes representatives from Savills Studley, Avison Young, CBRE, CIBC, Cushman & Wakefield, HFF, JLL, L3 Capital, Leopardo, Pearlmark, Telos and Zeller Realty Group.
