
Industrial Facility in “Transitioning” Area Goes to Local Buyer
Baley Investments struck a deal with California-based Yesh Properties LLC to acquire a 12,112-square-foot industrial asset at 8235 Vicar Dr. on San Antonio’s northeast side. The local buyer, which acquired the property for an undisclosed price, is planning to make “substantial renovations to the property,” said NAI Partners’ Joshua Swank, who negotiated the transaction between buyer and seller. “It will look like an entirely new building once they are finished.” The space will be used by an as-yet unnamed tenant.
Swank went on to say that the property was somewhat unusual, as it had different uses in the past. “The key here was that the property is located in a transitioning area of town, and tucked between two different economic revitalization areas,” he said. Because of that, it was essential to bring in the right buyer/business, to ensure that the area would continue a positive transition.
