Indoor Adventure Park Lands in Sterling, VA
ZAVAZONE is taking over a former indoor baseball practice facility and creating a 34,000-square-foot indoor adventure park in Sterling, VA. Located at 45685 Oakbrook Court, the facility will be its second when it opens next month, following the opening of a site in Rockville, MD in April 2016.
Transwestern’s Ethan Bernardi and Nathan Bortnick represented the tenant in both the Sterling and Rockville deals. The landlord, Adler Financial Group, was self-represented in the Sterling transaction.
“ZAVAZONE has experienced incredible success since opening its doors in Rockville last year,” said Bortnick. “Sterling has strong demographics, and the location is near a popular volleyball court, essentially creating a recreational destination for the area.”
The facilities combine multiple family entertainment activities, including obstacle courses, climbing walls, rope courses and trampolines. The company is currently negotiating several franchise arrangements outside the Washington metro area.
