In-N-Out Burger Pushes Farther North into Oregon, Opens at Keizer Station

In 1948, Harry Snyder opened In-N-Out Burger, California’s first “drive-thru” hamburger stand. Today, hamburgers are still made-to-order, shakes are still made with real ice cream, and employees are still treated like family. Now, the popular quick-serve restaurant has opened its third Oregon location, 200 miles farther north than its previous northernmost location in Grants Pass, OR.

The newest restaurant opened at Keizer Station in Keizer, OR on the I-5 Corridor between Portland and Eugene. In-N-Out first came to Oregon in 2015, opening a restaurant in Medford, which was followed two years later with a location in Grants Pass.

The restaurant at 6280 Keizer Station Blvd. will employ roughly 80 associates. The location has one drive-thru lane, indoor seating for 69 guests, and a covered patio with outdoor seating for 80 visitors. The Salem opening drew a high volume of customers, with some waiting two hours and about 60 lining up the evening before the restaurant even opened.
