In-N-Out Burger Acquires 71K-SF Property in Gresham

In-N-Out Burger is expanding its presence in the Portland area with its purchase of a 71,000-square-foot industrial space in Gresham.

The California drive-thru burger chain purchased the 4.63-acre property at 18205-18365 N.E. Sandy Blvd. in a transaction brokered by Cushman & Wakefield, reported the Portland Business Journal. The building, part of a larger industrial and warehouse development named Portland Portal III and completed in 2024, will help In-N-Out serve the region. The chain has sited several locations in the Portland area, but has yet to open on in the metro.

In-N-Out has been expanding slowly near the Portland area and has so far opened two stores, in Keizer and Ridgefield, Washington, within an hour’s drive of the city since 2019. The company has filed permits or plans for other area locations, including near PDX, and in Vancouver, Beaverton, and Hillsboro.
