Imagine Me Leadership Charter School is expanding to a new 63,000-square-foot campus in Brooklyn’s Brownsville neighborhood. The school signed a 30-year lease at 39 Truxton Street, where it will occupy the entire building. This move will allow the school to double its enrollment and transition to a co-ed model. 

The new campus, facilitated by tenant brokers Open Impact Real Estate, will feature amenities like a double-height gymnasium, outdoor playgrounds, a cafeteria, and an auditorium. The lease marks a significant milestone for the school, which has been planning for a new facility for many years. 

The tenant was represented by Stephen Powers, Lindsay Ornstein, and Jake Cinti of Open, while Steve Nadel and Nechama Liberow of Pinnacle Realty of New York negotiated on behalf of the landlord. Founded in 2011, Imagine Me Leadership Charter School will begin transitioning to its new campus during the 2024-2025 school year.
