Illegal/Legal Marijuana Facilities Under Either Arrest/Pressure

Normally speaking, a website dedicated to commercial real estate would not cover local marijuana raids, arrests and forfeitures; however, in California, there is a law that allows legal facilities to exist – known as California’s Medical and Adult-Use Cannabis Regulation and Safety Act (MAUCRSA).

Law enforcement agencies in the Inland Empire, however, are seeking the allegedly illegal types of facilities. And Week 26 of Operation Hammer Strike procured, from Feb. 21 to Feb. 27, some notable numbers:

  • 185 greenhouses “eradicated” – both indoor and outdoor
  • 2 electrical bypasses disabled
  • 30 arrested
  • 5,280 pounds of processed marijuana
  • 11 guns
  • More than $182,000.00 in cash.

Hammer Strike’s Week 25 produced similar results.

Licensed facilities/companies warned Gov. Gavin Newsom –vas recently as December 2021– that the legal marijuana industry was under considerable strain and could face collapse, according to the Associated Press.
