IKEA to Open in Webster

IKEA U.S. announced plans for a new store in Webster, Texas, slated to open in the summer of 2026, which will be the tenth store in the state. IKEA Webster will be located at the Center at Baybrook at 19801 Gulf Freeway. Webster is SE of Houston.

At IKEA Webster, customers will explore a 93,000 square-foot of space. The store will showcase a variety of fully furnished room settings, offering “local living” solutions. Customers will find 7,000 products on display with a curated selection of over 4,800 products available for immediate takeaway, including home furnishing accessories and over 800 smaller furniture items. Larger pieces, such as sofas and beds, along with the entire IKEA range, can be conveniently ordered online or in-store.

The company has nearly 500 stores in 50 countries. IKEA hires 16,000 Americans to staff the stores. Texas has a dozen stores.
