IE Counties Combine For CA’s Second Largest Population

The combined populations of San Bernardino and Riverside counties is second only to that of Los Angeles County, reaching 4.4 million people, according to the State Department of Finance.

Riverside and San Bernardino have the 4th and 5th largest county populations in the state, respectively. Over the 12-month period ending in July, the Inland Empire added 43,831 residents, and this influx is spurring rapid growth in the residential and industrial sector.

California’s population has now surpassed 39 million.
