IDS Proposes Warehouse in Rancho Cucamonga
Los Angeles-based IDS Real Estate Group is seeking to convert a former General Dynamics site in Rancho Cucamonga, CA into an 11-acre industrial complex. The developer proposed building a 232,000-square-foot warehouse on Fourth Street and Utica Avenue.
The vacant parking lot had become a favorite place for homeless to park SUV’s, and sits adjacent to a former vineyard lot. The Rancho Cucamonga City Council approved increasing the floor ratio from 35% of the site to 45%, to give the developer more flexibility to meet current market demand.
The project is proposed to have 255 parking spaces, beyond the 179 that are required, 33 dock doors and 34 spaces for trailers. The developer will remove 128 trees on the site, including four heritage trees, and will plant 196 new trees.
