ICSC to Hold 2025 CBC Real Estate Reception in DC

ICSC will host its second annual CBC Retail Real Estate Reception in Washington, D.C.

The event will convene retail real estate executives, policymakers, and community leaders to recognize the achievements of industry leaders and highlight partnerships that build more inclusive marketplaces.

The reception will be held at the 203-room The Morrow Hotel, which recently secured a $53 million refinance in a deal arranged by JLL. “We’re excited to host our second annual CBC Retail Real Estate Reception to honor trailblazers for their leadership and community impact and celebrate our strategic partnerships. In doing so, we hope to inspire the next generation of talent to step forward to further strengthen our industry,” said Tom McGee, President & CEO, ICSC.

The reception will recognize four honorees for leadership, innovation, and community impact in retail real estate, including Maryland Governor Wes Moore, Lyneir Richardson, CEO and co-founder of Chicago Trend, Morgan State University Chapter of Diversity and Inclusion in Real Estate, and Project REAP. Event proceeds will benefit the ICSC Foundation, the non-profit charitable arm of ICSC.
