ICSC Takes Full Floor at 1251 Sixth in HQ Lease

The International Council of Shopping Centers will occupy the entire 45th floor at Mitsui Fudosan America’s 1251 Ave. of the Americas. The 44,100-square-foot headquarters lease is scheduled to commence in mid- to late 2019 and will run for 16 years.

“We are delighted to welcome this prestigious organization to 1251 Avenue of the Americas,” said Christopher N. Perez, SVP of MFA. “Sixth Avenue is more vibrant today than any time in its history, and its location in the heart of Midtown provides ICSC with ideal access to its retail and real estate members.”

ICSC president Tom McGee concurred, saying that 1251 Sixth Ave. was “conveniently located and will provide a dynamic environment for our members when they visit.”

JLL’s Chris Kraus and Daoud Awad represented ICSC in the lease. An NKF team of David Falk, Peter Shimkin, Eric Cagner and Nick Berger represented MFA at 1251 Sixth.
