ICSC Adds “Retail in Focus” to NY Deal Making

The International Council of Shopping Centers will debut “Retail in Focus” at the 2018 New York Deal Making, Dec. 4-6 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Retail in Focus will feature many of the emerging brands that are reshaping shopping for consumers today, including WinkyLux , Candytopia, Allbirds, Dormify, M.Gemi, Neighborhood Goods and UNTUCKit.

“Adding Retail in Focus to the event not only exposes participants to the future of retail, but it is a key component in how ICSC is helping its members to reimagine the future and prepare for the change ahead,” said ICSC president and CEO Tom McGee.

For the 20-plus brands selected for Retail in Focus, the forum will provide an opportunity for retailers to connect with members of the real estate community in a manner that might be unlikely outside an event such as New York Deal Making, according to ICSC.
