ICSC 2017: Douglas Elliman, Avison Young, Caruso, Phillips Edison on Retail Leasing

Connect Media joined the more than 37,000 attendees at this year’s ICSC RECon conference in Las Vegas. We captured insights from three retail leaders who shared insights into 2017’s leasing trends.

Check out what Douglas Elliman’s Faith Hope Consolo, Avison Young’s Jodi Meade, Caruso’s Kloe Colacarro
and Phillips Edison’s Mike Conway have to say in the video in response to:

  1. What impact are retail consolidations, closings and e-commerce having on leasing activity this vs. last year?
  2. What are the breakout retail hits for 2017?
  3. What are the biggest concerns or things that excite you about the retail sector?

They say significant shifts are expected to accelerate, which will present new opportunities for savvy retailers. E-commerce will continue pushing retailers to new heights, and look for new experiential environments to emerge with creative alternatives.

Connect Media was happy to work with ICSC at RECon 2017, and our video series showcases retail leaders, ICSC sponsors and experts sharing insights about key retail trends. Check our our first ICSC 2017 video on retail research here.
