IADC Takes Down New Space at Lockton Place
The International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) signed a lease to take down 18,000 square feet at Lockton Place, a Class A office building at 3657 Briarpark Dr. in Houston. IADC will use the new space for its headquarters, with plans to relocate from its current digs at 10370 Richmond Ave. in Q3 2018.
Lockton Place is an eight-story, 186,000-square-foot building located in Houston’s Westchase District. The property is 93.5% leased, with completion of the IADC transaction.
“Not only is IADC’s lease a beacon of light to the Westchase submarket, which has been heavily impacted by the energy downturn, it underscores the ‘flight to quality’ theme continuing to play out across the city’s office sector,” said JLL’s Russell Hodges. Hodges partnered with JLL’s Bubba Harkins to represent the landlord, Triten Real Estate Partners and USAA. Chad Baker and Matt Sanderson, also with JLL, represented the tenant.
