Hyliion Planning Relocation to Cedar Park

Energy technology company Hyliion Inc. announced it will be relocating most of its employees from a current location in Verona, PA to Cedar Park, TX, north of Austin. The company, which designs, develops, manufactures and installs hybrid suspension for semi tractors and trailers, will complete the relocation by the end of 2018.

Cedar Park’s Economic Development Co. 4A Board recommended approval for an economic development agreement totaling $1.27 million, so long as Hyliion will lease no less than 80,000 square feet and create 35 full-time jobs by Oct. 31, 2018. By Oct. 2022, the company will have up to 220 full-time equivalent jobs.

The company is currently leasing space in Brushy Creek Corporate Center. The buildout for the tenant will be ready later this year.
