Hyde, Mortenson Advance Spec Industrial Development in Aurora

Metro Denver’s industrial market is about to get significantly larger as HighPoint industrial and logistics business park prepares for expansion and its first groundbreaking in Aurora. Hyde Development and Mortenson Properties acquired 145 acres, just north of their existing 125-acre site, with plans to add 129 more acres and break ground on the park’s first structure, Building 1, a 541,840-square-foot Class A speculative building.

The site is located along E-470 at East 64th Avenue, just south of Denver International Airport. Eventually spanning nearly 400 acres, HighPoint could include up to 15 buildings totaling more than five million square feet at full build-out.

Slated to deliver in the third quarter of 2021, the first building will have 36-foot clear heights, 50- by 54-foot column spacing, an ESFR sprinkler system, 92 dock-high and four drive-in doors, 68 trailer parking spaces and 273 parking spaces.

CBRE’s Todd Witty, Daniel Close, Tyler Carner and Jeremy Ballenger are marketing HighPoint for lease and sale opportunities.
