HWE Markets Downtown Brooklyn Offices for Sale

New York-based fund operator Meadow Partners has listed 57 Willoughby St. In downtown Brooklyn for sale. The fully leased, roughly 125,000-square-square-foot office building could appeal to buyers seeking socially responsible investments. Hodges Ward Elliott is marketing the property, with bids expected to come in at about $80 million.

The office space is currently anchored by JCCA, formerly known as Jewish Child Care Association.

Meadow Partners acquired the property, originally occupied by nonprofit Helen Keller Services for the Blind, in late 2016. When that group later moved out, Meadow renovated the building into Class-A office space through a $20-million capital improvement program completed during the pandemic.

In December 2021, JCCA agreed to a 68,000-square-foot lease. Additional office tenants at the property include the Brooklyn Autism Center and a housing advocacy agency. There are also two small fast-casual restaurants occupying approximately 9,500 square feet of street-level retail space.
