Hunt Tops Off on El Paso’s WestStar Tower

Hunt Companies recently topped off construction of WestStar Tower in downtown El Paso, nearly two years after the groundbreaking on what will be the city’s tallest building. The ceremony took place over a several-hour period to comply with social distancing guidelines.

“This project is part of a whole revitalization of downtown El Paso and it’s great to see the progress that continues to be made, even while we live and work through some difficult times,” said Hunt Companies EVP Josh Hunt.

To be anchored by WestStar Bank, which will occupy three floors along with some ground-floor retail space, WestStar Tower will also be the future headquarters of Hunt Companies.

The overall project will include 264,000 rentable square feet of office, 12,000 square feet of ground-level office and retail and 850 parking spaces. Sonny Brown & Associates is leading the leasing and sales effort for commercial and retail users.
