Hunt Southwest Readies for Interstate Crossing
Dallas-based Hunt Southwest Real Estate is readying to build a one-million-square-foot speculative warehouse project in north Fort Worth. Dubbed Interstate Crossing, the development will go north on 77 acres at Interstates 35W and 820. Completion is scheduled for Q3 2019.
Becky Thompson and Reid Bassinger of Lee & Associates brokered the land sale. Thompson and Bassinger, along with Lee & Associates’ Trey Fricke, are handling the leasing.
Hunt Southwest Vice President T. Preston Herold indicated that the location is ideal for industrial product, due to an abundance of quality labor and proximity to two major interstates. Additionally, “you have a very rare opportunity that speaks to the needs of distributors and e-commerce retailers to reduce transportation and labor costs in their respective supply chains,” he said.
