Hunt Southwest Launches Construction on 509K-SF 59 Logistics Center
Hunt Southwest Real Estate Development began development on 59 Logistics Center, a speculative industrial facility in the northeast Houston suburb of Humble, TX, close to George Bush Intercontinental Airport. The 509,600-square-foot development at 17440 U.S. 59 is scheduled to deliver by Q4 2020.
Jason Dillee and Nathan Wynne of CBRE will represent Dallas-based Hunt Southwest in the lease-up of the facility. Powers Brown Architecture is the project architect, and E.E. Reed Construction the general contractor.
“We are bullish on the Houston market, which is one of the highest growth markets in the country in terms of jobs and population growth,” said Hunt Southwest’s T. Preston Herold.
“With a large and growing industrial market and record growth in container volume at its port, Houston is the right place to invest our time and capital to develop and own a speculative, state-of-the-art industrial facility,” he added.
