Hunt Mortgage Hangs South Carolina Shingle

Hunt Mortgage Group, headquartered in New York City, has set up shop in Charleston, SC. John Beam, who currently heads the company’s Atlanta, GA office, has been tapped to lead the new South Carolina location at 170 Meeting St. Beam will divide his time between the two offices.

Beam’s focus is originating agency debt, including small-balance loans under the Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae Small Balance Loan Programs. Also offered through the new office is bridge financing through Hunt Mortgage’s Proprietary Loan Group.

“John is a skilled financial services executive, with an impressive track record of success at Hunt Mortgage Group,” said James Flynn, president of Hunt Mortgage Group. “We are confident he will successfully launch the Charleston office and be effective in serving local commercial real estate developers. Combining John’s expertise and the company’s vast product array, we will quickly have a thriving presence in the region.”
