Hulu Considering Move to Alamo City

Streaming service Hulu is considering expanding its offices to San Antonio, according to a local county source reporting to the San Antonio Express News. The expansion would immediately bring about 350 jobs to the Alamo City, with that number potentially growing to 500 within the next couple of years. The source said the other city in the running was Albuquerque, NM.

San Antonio Mayor Ivy Taylor confirmed to the Express News that she and others had visited with the CEO of a “major brand” for expansion. She told the publication that the delegation included Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff, and officials from the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation, TechBloc and AT&T.
