Hudson Yards Will Get Spanish-Themed Food Hall

Chef José Andrés’ ThinkFoodGroup will bring a Spanish-themed food hall to Hudson Yards in the spring of 2019. To be known as Mercado Little Spain, the 35,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor space will be located at the base of 10 Hudson Yards, opening at roughly the same time as other restaurant offerings at the mixed-use mega-project.

The food hall will be the first New York location for Andres, who is credited with popularizing tapas in the U.S. It will be the first U.S. venture for Andres’ collaborators on Mercado Little Spain, brothers Ferran and Albert Adrià.

To be located at the corner of Tenth Avenue and West 30h Street, the all-day food hall will feature three full-service restaurants, offering different facets of Spanish cuisine and styles of dining. There will also be a collection of individual stalls, along with retail kiosks selling a variety of Spanish products and gift baskets.
