Hudson Pacific Acquires Quixote Studios in $360M Deal
Tech and media real estate company Hudson Pacific Properties, Inc. has purchased Los Angeles-based Quixote studios for $360 million. Quixote rents sound stages, cast trailers, trucks and other essential equipment for content production ranging from commercial shoots to high-quality feature films.
“Our acquisition of Quixote Studios represents further execution of our strategy to enhance our core studio business for customers,” said Hudson Pacific Executive VP Jeff Stotland. “Quixote strengthens our reach to capture strong secular demand for studio and related assets and enables us to achieve immediate economies of scale while further diversifying our client base.”
Quixote is one the industry’s most recognized brands, with clients that include Paramount, NBC Universal and Warner Bros, as well as movies and TV shows such as Apple’s The Morning Show, HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm and Disney’s Jungle Cruise.
Mikel Elliott, Founder of Quixote, who will remain in a leadership position, said, “Together, Hudson Pacific and Quixote will further innovate, inspire and solve new production challenges in the era of streaming content and beyond.”
