Hudson Pacific Acquires Development Site in Seattle; Will Erect State-of-the-Art Office Tower
Hudson Pacific Properties Inc. has announced the completed $85.6 million purchase of the Washington 1000 office development site in the Denny Triangle submarket of Seattle. The firm will immediately begin construction of a 546,000-square-foot tower with an anticipated delivery in early 2024.
Washington 1000 is located at 1000 Olive Way, directly adjacent to the Washington State Convention Center Addition project, which will add numerous improvements to the Denny Triangle neighborhood. The new tower will be LEED Gold and Fitwell certified with 100% carbon neutral operations. It will feature high ceilings that maximize glass allowing for plenty of natural light plus amenity-rich outdoor space, including an indoor-outdoor rooftop lounge.
Hudson Pacific’s Andy Wattula said in a news release, “Washington 1000, with its state-of-the-art, highly amenitized, sustainable and healthy design delivers exactly what today’s leading companies and their employees desire, uniquely positioning the project within the market for lease.”
