Hudson Oaks Next North Texas Stop for H-E-B

San Antonio grocer H-E-B announced it would be building another store in North Texas. Specifically, a new store will go north in Hudson Oaks, TX, approximately 20 miles west of downtown Fort Worth. The store will open in 2019 at U.S. 180 and Lakeshore Drive, bringing the total number of stores in North Texas to eight. There are no specifics yet on the Hudson Oaks Store, such as size or groundbreaking.

The other North Texas stores are in Burleson, Cleburne, Corsicana, Ennis, Granbury, Stephenville, and Waxahachie. Interestingly enough, no H-E-B stores are in Dallas, or its suburbs, though Central Market, an H-E-B division, does have a presence in and around Big D. The Central Market brand, in fact, is the primary growth vehicle in Dallas, according to an H-E-B spokeswoman. Three Central Market stores are in the works for Dallas.
