HSBC Tower Still 100% Occupied
Wood Mackenzie, a global leader in commercial intelligence for the energy, metals and mining industries, extended its lease for another five years at 452 Fifth Ave. — the landmark office tower sometimes known as the HSBC Tower.
“The Wood Mackenzie commitment not only solidifies the great relationship we have established between ownership and our tenants at 452 Fifth Avenue through stellar management, but also our continued achievement of triple-digit rents and 100 percent occupancy,” said Alicia Popper, senior vice president for the building owner PBC USA.
Since acquiring the property in April 2010, the ownership completed a multi-million-dollar capital improvement campaign providing redeveloped, multi-floor lobby and entrance plus infrastructure, including new elevators, cooling towers and generators.
JLL represented PBC in the transaction. Savills Studley represented the tenant.
