HSA Commercial Real Estate to Bring 482K-SF Industrial Behemoth to Fort Myers

Chicago, IL-based HSA Commercial Real Estate has entered the Southeast region with the groundbreaking of a 481,933-square-foot speculative industrial facility located in Fort Myers, FL.

The development, branded as Highland Commerce Center of Fort Myers and described Southwest FL’s largest cross-dock warehouse, will rise five miles from the Southwest Florida International Airport. The project will deliver in Q4 2023.

“Industrial facilities of this size are rare along the Gulf Coast and are needed to service the region’s large population centers and growing number of national retailers,” said Tim Thompson, EVP of industrial at HSA Commercial Real Estate. “In addition to commencing work on Highland Commerce Center of Fort Myers, we are actively seeking new sites for industrial development throughout Southwest Florida.

Located directly off Interstate 75 at the Alico Road interchange, Highland Commerce Center of Fort Myers will feature specifications, such as 36-foot clear heights, 96 dock doors, four drive-in doors, 181 parking spaces, 138 trailer spaces and a building depth of 500 feet.

The warehouse the will be leased by the Fort Myers office of Lee & Associates.
