HP Enterprise Relocating HQ to San Jose
Hewlett Packard Enterprise plans to relocate its headquarters to a newly-constructed 220,000-square-foot facility in north San Jose. The server and storage-focused company will move into SteelWave’s America Center in late 2018.
The company will consolidate roughly 1,000 employees from across its Bay Area workforce in two six-story buildings located at 6280 America Center Dr. The project sits on a 13-acre site with unobstructed views of the San Francisco Bay and Valley.
In November, the company initially indicated it planned to shift its long-time HQ from Palo Alto to Santa Clara. HP Enterprise will still maintain a presence in Santa Clara, via its acquisition of Aruba Networks.
Hewlett Packard Enterprises’ Nick Gunn told Bloomberg, “We are excited about the opportunity to create a purpose-built workspace and customer briefing center that can accommodate more of our people together at one site, and allow for growth and expansion.”
