Howard Hughes Inks $35M Refi on Cypress Retail/Office Development

Affinius Capital provided a $35 million refinancing for Village Green at Bridgeland Central, a nearly 200,000-square-foot mixed-use retail and office development in Cypress, Texas. Howard Hughes Holdings was the sponsor. The property is in the Bridgeland master-planned community.

The 23-acre property is anchored by H-E-B and includes a Class A office building. The property’s office component comprises a three-story, 49,000-square-foot mass-timber building that was nearly fully leased at the time of the loan closing.

Bridgeland has 7 million square feet of office space, 2 million square feet of retail space, 3,800 residences, and 1,500 hotel rooms.

Colby Mueck, Kelly Layne, Jack Britton and Scot Sarlin of JLL arranged the loan on behalf of Howard Hughes Holdings.
