
Houston’s Three Pillars Appoints Gautum Goyal CEO
Three Pillars Capital Group, a private equity firm specializing in Class B and C multifamily, has appointed founder and managing partner Gautum Goyal as President and CEO. Co-founder Josh Welch, who had served as CEO will transition to COO.
As CEO, Goyal will oversee the groups portfolio which currently extends to over 3,000 units, as well as the company’s property management arm, Greenline Apartment Management.
Welch will now focus more on investor relations and raising capital. He had this about Goyal, “Gautum’s unmatched skills and knowledge of both our business and the broader multifamily market make him the perfect choice to build on Three Pillars momentum.”
Prior to working at Three Pillars, Goyal worked at a hedge fund as an energy trader, trading natural gas and crude oil. He’s a graduate in Finance and Economics from the University of Houston.
