
Houston’s 200 Park Place Acquired by Hines
The 15-story all-glass structure was sold off by the original developer, Stonelake Capital Partners. JLL represented the seller and procured the buyer.
Completed in 2020, the 206,943 square foot 200 Park Place features a ninth-floor amenity level with a tenant lounge, conference center and 6,000 square foot outdoor landscaped terrace. In addition, the building houses a sushi restaurant on the ground level.
200 Park Place is part of the Park Place mixed-use development in the upscale River Oaks and Highland Village area. Stonelake assembled and planned the site which includes high-end residential buildings The Ivy and The James.
The fully leased property was no stranger to the buyer, “Hines emerged as the optimal buyer for this asset. Since they are headquartered in Houston, they understood better than anyone how special and permanent this location is.,” said JLL’s Kevin McConn.
