Puttshack, the latest version of mini-golf, is opening up at Houston Center, in downtown Houston. Puttshack’s new indoor 26,000 square-foot location will feature four competitive nine-hole mini golf courses where golfers can putt to music featuring local DJs. Puttshack touts its interactive courses with obstacles at every turn, automated scoring and bonus points opportunities.

The space will also feature two bars and a main dining area. Additionally, a private event space with a capacity of more than 100 guests will be available for people looking for an exclusive space for any variety of other events.

Founded by the creators of TopGolf, Flight Club, and AceBounce, Puttshack combines its patented Trackabal technology to elevate the game of miniature golf. It’s the 6th Puttshack in the US. Other venues are slated soon for Denver, Pittsburgh, and Scottsdale. The growth of the enterprise is aided by a capital round of $150 million from funds managed by BlackRock, Inc. In late 2022.
