Houston Buyer Snags College Station La Quinta Inn & Suites

ALF-TINS LLC, led by Alfredo Tinajero, acquired the 89-key La Quinta Inn & Suites in College Station, TX. The Houston-based buyer struck a deal with AMR Hotels LLC for the property at 1838 Graham Rd. CBRE’s Michael Yu, Rahul Bijlani, Tyler Bean and Dennis Drake managed the transaction.

Bean said the seller had a full executed contract within a month of the property coming to the market. While the Bryan/College Station area is experiencing a larger increase in hotel rooms, “the market RevPAR has remained stable, due to continued hotel demand from the “Texas A&M University, and the growing Bryan/College Station population,” Bean said.

Added Tinajero: “We bought La Quinta College Station because we saw good potential in the market. The demand is there, even as more rooms have come into College Station, hotel revenues have continued to rise, which is a good sign for the city’s economy and growth.”
