Houston Adding New Industrial Park
Developer Jackson-Shaw is starting work on the Post Oak Logistics Park in southwest Houston. The site is located near the south side of US Hwy 90 Alternative, just west of the intersection with South Post Oak Blvd.
The industrial park is 43 acres and will consist of two buildings totaling 546,992 square feet. The typical bay is 56 feet by 50 feet with truck courts up to 185 feet and ample storage.
The project is expected to be open for business in the second quarter of 2023. Houston’s appetite for industrial space shows no shows no signs of abating, “Industrial activity is thriving in Houston as leasing activity, and net absorption remain elevated following record levels in 2021,” said Jackson-Shaw’s Grant Pearson. Rosenberger Construction is the general contractor, with Powers Brown as the architect. Cushman-Wakefields’s Beau Kaleel and Michael Foreman are managing the leasing assignment.
