House Prices Up 10% in Woodlawn, Williamsbridge

Add two more to your list of hot neighborhoods in the Bronx — sales of single-family houses are booming in the neighborhoods of Woodlawn and Williamsbridge, on the Northern edge of the borough.

There were 119 one-to-three family home sales in Woodlawn and Williamsbridge neighborhoods in the fourth quarter, a 37% increase from the year before. The average sales price of a one-to-three family dwelling in this area of the Bronx was $424,000, up 10% from the fourth quarter of 2015, according to the Real Estate Board of New York.

“Home sales remain above average across the five boroughs, with healthy price growth despite a slight decline in activity this quarter,” said John H. Banks, III, REBNY President.
