Houston’s Rice Village Welcomes Two New Austin Tenants

Rice Village at 2400 University Blvd. in Houston will be second home to two Austin, TX-based retailers. Taking space in the retail center is Beehive, which will be making its first foray into Houston, and Hopdoddy Burger Bar, which is opening its second locale in the Bayou City.

The 195,000-square-foot, two-level, open-air center is the largest retail property in the historic Rice Village district. Formerly known as the Village Arcade, the property is an endowment of Houston-based Rice University, and is being managed, repositioned and redeveloped by Fort Worth-based Trademark Property Co. Trademark began renovations on the property late last year.
