Hotel Near Midway Airport Up for Sale for More Than $20M
Holiday Inn Chicago hotel, located near Midway International Airport, has hit the market for $20.5 million. The property is being marketed by Josh Tammen with Marcus & Millichap.
The 158-room hotel at 7353 S. Cicero Ave. was built in 1970 and was previously the Clarion Hotel Chicago Midway, reported the Chicago Business Journal. The five-story hotel is located three blocks from the 1.2 million-square-foot Ford City Mall, 1.8 miles from the airport and 12 miles from downtown Chicago.
The largest companies with a presence within 10 miles of the hotel include Advocate Aurora Health, Walmart and American Airlines. The hotel is owned by the InterContinental Hotels Group PLC, which licenses the name to franchisees and third parties that operate Holiday Inn hotels under management agreements.
