Hotel Indigo Debuts in DTLA

April 5, 2017

Greenland USA and InterContinental Hotels Group opened the 350-room Hotel Indigo at Metropolis in DTLA. Public officials gathered with development and hotel management leaders to commemorate the milestone last week, with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting event.

The 18-story tower is located at James M. Wood Blvd. and Francisco Street. (Incidentally, Connect Media will be hosting an event at Hotel Indigo in June, so be watching for details here.)

Hotel Indigo is the first component to open as part of the $1-billion Metropolis development. The 6.3-acre mixed-use complex, nearly 30 years in the making, includes additional towers ranging from 38 to 56 stories, and will house 1,500 condominiums and 75,000 square feet of retail.

The hotel will officially begin accepting reservations beginning April 15, 2017. The first of three residential towers is slated to open in May 2017, with delivery of the balance of the project in 2019.
