Hospitality Veteran Mashburn Joins CushWake in Kansas City

Dave Mashburn has joined Cushman & Wakefield as director, hospitality services, based in Kansas City, MO. Mashburn will work with hotel and other hospitality investors and developers on investment sales and acquisitions of sites and redevelopment and conversion of existing buildings. Additionally, he will represent investor-clients on acquisitions and dispositions.

“Dave’s extensive experience in the hotel industry and his unsurpassed knowledge and contacts will make him a great resource for our clients,” said Gib Kerr, Cushman & Wakefield managing principal in Kansas City. “He’s a perfect fit, both from a cultural perspective and as seasoned addition to our existing proficiency in land investment and redevelopment.”

Mashburn joins Cushman & Wakefield from Mashburn Development, which he founded in 2013. He has more than 30 years of experience in the entitlement, development, design, construction, incentives and management of 200-plus large hotel, convention center, resort, retail, multifamily and mixed-use projects across the country.
