Horizon Capital Mgmt. Acquires Escondido Multifamily for $20M

Illinois-based Horizon Capital Management has acquired two San Diego multifamily properties from one buyer for $19.7 million. The properties, located at 900 E. Mission Ave. and 406-414 N. Juniper St. in Escondido, CA, total 93-units with 54 units at Juniper St. and 39-units at Mission Ave.

A Marcus & Millichap San Diego investment sales team of Christopher J. Zorbas and Austin Huffman exclusively represented the seller, SHS Development Corp, along with identifying Horizon and representing them for the purchase.

Horizon plans on improving the properties with strategic renovations to both interiors and exteriors, Marcus & Millichap says.
