Mansfield/Hoque Global teaming up on downtown real estate development

Hoque Global Set to Begin Mansfield Downtown Development

The City of Mansfield is set to begin a mixed-use real estate development project in Historic Downtown Mansfield that they hope will reinvigorate the district and spark future development. “For many years, our city’s leaders have been patiently waiting for a development that will revitalize this fouracre stretch of city-owned land in Historic Downtown Mansfield and position the neighborhood for long-term growth,” Mansfield City Manager Joe Smolinski says. “That development is here.”

The development – in collaboration with Hoque Global – will bring residential, retail, recreational, office and parking space to four acres of land along Smith and Elm streets in Historic Downtown Mansfield. Hoque Global plans to build a $50 million mixed-use development includes 249 residences, nearly 12,000 square feet of retail, office, and restaurant space, and a nearly 8,000-square-foot civic plaza. Also planned are an innovation center and an above-ground parking garage near Smith and Depot streets.
