HomeGoods to Open Store at Gresham Station Retail Center
HomeGoods has signed a retail lease in the Portland market, committing to 18,300 sqaure feet at Schnitzer Properties’ Gresham Station Shopping Center in Gresham, Oregon.
The HomeGoods store will open in the summer of 2027. The space was formerly occupied by a World Market, which moved into an adjacent space in the Gresham Station shopping center.
Gresham Station is also home to stores such as Best Buy, Maurices, Ulta and Old Navy. The new HomeGoods store will be 18,724 square feet. HomeGoods is a subsidiary of TJX, the company that also owns TJ Maxx. There are currently several HomeGoods locations in the Portland metropolitan area, and the new HomeGoods store at Gresham Station will span 18,724 square feet.
In a market with close to zero new retail construction, large-format retail opportunities are increasingly limited. Gresham Station stood out to HomeGoods given the retail property’s visibility, parking and strong lineup of retailers.
