Holland Partner Group Divests SLU Tower for $320M

Holland Partner Group and North America Sekisui House (NASH) sold the 41-story Kiara apartment tower in Seattle to Canadian investor, Kiara Owner (DE) LLC, an affiliate of Oxford Properties Group, for $320 million. The 461-unit property is located at 111 Terry Ave. N. in South Lake Union. The deal translates into a price of about $900-per-rentable-square-foot.

The building on Denny Way delivered in late 2018 and was listed for sale with Eastdil Secured. The tower was designed by Weber Thompson, and Holland served as general contractor.

Kiara’s unit mix includes studios, urban one-bedrooms, one-, two- and three-bedroom signature units, as well as penthouses. The property contains 374 subterranean parking stalls, about 188 bike stalls, more than 15,000 square feet of retail space, and three amenity levels including two rooftop decks.
