Holland Partner Group Adds Two Tenants at New Mixed-Use Tower

Holland Partner Group, North America Sekisui House and Lowe have secured a 17,000-square-foot office lease with HNTB Corporation and a 9,000-square-foot office lease with HDR Engineering, Inc. at the recently completed West, a $510-million, 37-story mixed-use project located at 1011 Union St. in downtown San Diego. Reportedly the first multi-mixed-use tower in the city, the project features 289,000 square feet of office space, 10,000 square feet of retail and 431 luxury apartments.

HNTB Corporation and HDR Engineering are relocating from a different location in downtown San Diego, with move-in planned for early 2025.

The new leases come on the heels of completion of spec development of West as well as other leasing success, including its residential component. In 2023, San Diego Association of Governments signed a lease for 87,000 square feet of office space. Leading the office leasing efforts at West Downtown San Diego are JLL’s Tony Russell and Richard Gonor.
